One day, a mysterious woman Maya Saginomiya sits down without any explanation to a former bank clerk Kenshi Takahashi, who is sitting at one of the tables in a coffee shop, and now unemployed, recently rejected by his girlfriend Erika Okami (owner of an inn). Maya makes Kenshi believe her theory that Eriko used him to get bank money, and when he became unnecessary, she dumped him. It was easy to do, since Kenshi was fired because he financed a large sum of money into the renovation of Erika's hotel, because of which his bank was on the verge of bankruptcy, and was absorbed by a company belonging to the Murakami family. Also, by chance (or maybe not), not far from them at another table appears Eriko with her new fiancé Masaaki Murakami (third son of the president of the Murakami company). After that, without thinking twice, Kenshi agrees to Maya's proposal to take revenge on Erika, as well as her close people. What this revenge will lead to, what will happen to Erika and her younger sister Yuka, the reasons why Erika dumped Kenshi, and much more can be learned in one of several endings of the game.
