The girls' soft tennis club of Shiratama School lacks stars from the sky, to say the least. The main heroine, loud and clumsy Asuna, is full of enthusiasm but completely unable to concentrate. Her friend Kotone is a strong and agile athlete, a martial arts master, but clearly lags in tennis technique. The senior Chitose, the nominal leader of the club, doesn't know how to play at all; she chose sports only as a means to combat the consequences of an insatiable appetite. The newcomer Kurusu is talented but unsociable and doesn't understand teamwork, and the foreigner Elizabeth seems to have joined to learn Japanese and show off quite a nice figure to someone. And how can such a group think about the national championship?

If something works out – good, if not – fine. Before us is not an epic sports anime, but a simple and kind comedy with elements of sports and romance. And what difference does it make what five girls do, as long as it's interesting for them and the viewers!"
