Somewhere in the mountains, a little fox fell into a hunting trap. After lying there for several hours, she was on the brink of life and death. She was saved by an unknown man (the owner of a mountain inn) who happened to pass by. A few months passed, the fox's wounds healed, and she felt indebted to that man. The fox wanted to repay the man for his kindness and mercy. She took human form and began to search for her savior. By scent, the fox found the inn at a hot spring, which was run by the man who saved her. Entering it, she found her savior on his deathbed, he was about to die. He was only worried about his inn and didn't want to talk about anything else. Before his death, the fox promises that she will save his inn from closing and put it in order at all costs. However, she knew absolutely nothing about the hotel business, or about human affairs in general. In search of any answer, she decides to search the master's room.
